Gander Rod and Gun Club was established in 1950 and is situated on the north shore of Gander Lake about five kilometers east of Gander. The club grounds are to the south of Gander International Airport and leased from Gander Airport Authority.

A Club Trap League shoot occurs every Sunday afternoon at 02:00 PM and during summer daylight saving time every Tuesday evening at 06:30 PM weather permitting
